On Friday, July 14, I was released from Houston Methodist and came home.
After 17 days in the hospital with half of that in isolation in my room, it was a great feeling.
Although at home, I’m still in isolation for another month or so. Anita has sterilized everything, so that my exposure is minimized. Coming home is a great improvement, but I’m still struggling with extreme fatigue and overall malaise.
It’s now a process of waiting for my new immune system to take hold. Blood tests 2 -3 times a week are indicating that the numbers are going in the right direction, so things are looking good.
Thanks for all the support and prayers.
Jay
